What does all in one place mean?
You don't have to find a designer, a manufacturer, a carrier and a fitter separately. We measure the room, draw the design, make the furniture in our own workshop in Piņķi, bring it to you and install it.
There is no middleman, so one team answers for the result. If anything needs adjusting, you only deal with us.
What is included in the price and what is charged separately?
Wooden furniture starts at €600, concrete worktops at €700, sliding doors at €800, built-in wardrobes and walk-in closets at €1,000 and kitchens at €3,000, with hardware included. We choose materials and hardware to suit the project and the budget, so the price can be adjusted by changing the interior or the finish.
Installation is charged separately and shown in the quote. Measuring and the quote are free in Riga and roughly 30 km around it; for longer trips we agree separately.
How long does it take?
Making starts from 1 week after the design is approved. A kitchen takes 6 weeks from design approval to finished installation. We give the exact date once the design is approved, because it depends on the amount of work and on material deliveries.
Do you deliver and install in Norway?
Yes. Most of our more than 100 projects were carried out in Scandinavia and Norway. We take the furniture to Norway ourselves, and our own team installs it there, not a local subcontractor.
In Norway the minimum order is 20,000 NOK, and it takes 8 weeks from design approval to installation. Transport, installation and Norwegian VAT are itemised in the quote.
Where is the furniture made?
In our workshop at Rūpnieku iela 8, Piņķi, Mārupe Municipality, Latvia. THE ROOM STUDIO is built on more than 10 years of experience. We also make furniture to your own design and under your brand, with a minimum order of 1 piece.
