1. General provisions
This privacy policy explains how The Room Studio, SIA (registration number 40203758754, registered address Zolitūdes iela 70A-1, Rīga, LV-1046), as the controller of personal data, collects, processes and stores the data of people who buy goods in our online shop or contact us.

2. Obtaining, processing and storing personal data
We obtain personal data only from the customer themselves — at the moment an order is placed, or when the customer contacts us. We do not obtain it from third parties and do not use it for purposes the customer has not been told about.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data they give us. If the data changes, please let us know.
3. Processing customers’ personal data
To fulfil an order, we process the first name, surname, email address, telephone number and delivery address. If the buyer is a company, we also process the company name, the registration number and, where there is one, the VAT number.
The legal basis for processing is performance of the contract, together with the requirements of accounting and tax legislation. We keep the documents relating to an order for as long as Latvian legislation requires.
Payments are processed by the payment platform https://makecommerce.lv/, so our company passes the personal data needed to carry out the payment to the platform’s owner, Maksekeskus AS.
The data needed to deliver the goods — the recipient’s name, phone number and delivery point — we pass to the delivery service provider. The data is not passed to any other third parties, and it is not transferred outside the European Union.
4. Rights of the data subject
The customer has the right to access their data, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to restrict the processing, to object to the processing, and to withdraw their consent where the processing is based on consent. To do so, write to info@theroomstudio.lv.
If the customer believes their data has been processed without good reason, they have the right to turn to the State Data Inspectorate.
5. Cookies
The online shop uses cookies that are necessary for it to work — they remember the contents of the basket and the customer’s session. Without them the shop cannot function. Cookies can be deleted or blocked in your browser settings.
6. Final provisions
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation). We have the right to add to this privacy policy; the current version is always available on this page.
